Description

Adorn your glazed pieces with accents of gold, silver, and mother of pearl with Resident Artist, Schuyler Forsythe. Pieces must be glaze fired (cone 6 or 10) before class. Due to kiln limitations, students may luster no more than 3 pieces depending on size.

*Pieces must be no taller than 6 inches and no wider than 12 inches.

For everyone’s safety, this class will be held entirely outside (and with fume respirators) so please dress for the weather!

Skill: All Levels. No prior experience needed.
Prerequisite: A Clay Art Center intro ceramics class or ceramic experience from another studio. Must bring your own glaze-fired work.

$120 for one-time class
(Price includes shared luster supplies)

During checkout, you will be asked to confirm you have read and agreed upon the conditions of our Student Class Policies. Agreement is required to attend any class, workshop, or open studio at CAC.

Student Policy Overview

Tuition is due in full at time of registration.
All class confirmations are sent by email no later than 7 days prior to the start of class.
Classes with insufficient enrollment will be cancelled and payment fully refunded.
No refunds are issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the first day of class. There are no refunds or pro-rating options for missed classes.
Tuition includes shared materials for luster and one luster firing.
In the event of an emergency closing, students will be emailed and classes will be rescheduled. The website home page will indicate whether classes and/or open studios are cancelled and if the offices are closed.
