Clay Art Center is proud to bring quality clay programming to schools and community centers, in our home of Port Chester and in Westchester and Fairfield Counties through our community arts programs. Read on for recent updates from some of our programs.

This week, Clay Art Center received the Community Service Award from Human Development Services of Westchester for our long-term partnership with HOPE House, which provides people recovering from behavioral health conditions with support and resources to pursue their goals. Our partnership has offered weekly on-site clay classes to Hope House members. We are honored to receive this award, and look forward to continuing to support our community through clay! Thank you to the Kathi and Peter Arnow Foundation for supporting this partnership.

We also work to transform community spaces through our mosaic work, partnering with schools and organizations to envision, create and install ceramic mosaics like the recently completed steps at Port Chester Middle School funded by the Cornelia T. Bailey Foundation. Our tiles were made at the school with the students, who also contributed ideas to the design.

We envision increasing our reach in our community as part of our recently announced expansion plans for Clay Art Center. Your support allows us to run programs like these and many more – please consider making a donation today!
