For more than 20 years Clay Art Center has mobilized hundreds of community members and artists to create thousands of handmade ceramic bowls. Together, with Rye Presbyterian Church and a host of volunteers, we have raised over $80,000 in the fight to end hunger in Westchester County.
This year, Rye Presbyterian Church hosted our Empty Bowls event on Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 11am - 12:30pm, where we sold beautifully crafted bowls made by more than 50 Clay Art Center artists and students.
All proceeds are donated to local organizations dedicated to alleviating food insecurity to help families in need in Port Chester, NY.
Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort to raise both money and awareness in the fight to end hunger. If you would like to learn more, visit www.emptybowls.com. If you would like to see the listing for the most recent event, visit: https://emptybowls.com/clay-art-center-empty-bowls/.
