Fostering Community with Clay | Criando comunidad con barro

The Community Arts Program at Clay Art Center was created with the intention of getting clay into the hands of those who need it most and who may not have access to arts enrichment otherwise. Since its inception, the Community Arts Program has grown to encompass arts education programs in Port Chester, Westchester County, and beyond. We are proud to partner with local schools, assisted living facilities, and other community based organizations to offer high-quality arts education and enrichment.

El programa de Community Arts fue creado con la intención de introducir el medio de barro a los que más lo necesitan y que puede ser que no tengan acceso al enriquecimiento artístico. Desde su creación, el programa de Community Arts ha crecido hasta abarcar programas de educación artística en Port Chester, el condado de Westchester, y más allá. Estamos orgullosos de emparejarnos con escuelas locales, centros de vida asistida, y otras organizaciones comunitarias para ofrecer educación y enriquecimiento artístico de alta calidad.

Community Arts Impact

Hear from individuals whose lives have been impacted through our programs.

 

Thanks to the support of our donors and grant funding, our programs reach out to our community’s most vulnerable youth, teens, seniors, and those with special needs, and help them come together to learn, to create and to leave their stories behind for the next generation.
