Resident Slide Night and Gallery Closing Reception

Come enjoy an evening learning about our incoming Artists in Residence and see the gallery exhibit, US. 

Christine Fashion holds a BFA from Penn State University. She was awarded a 2017 Windgate Fellowship for her project, Collections: Hierarchy and Value. Previously she has worked at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts in Reading, PA.

Nikki Lau holds a MFA in Ceramics from Penn State University and a BA in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts from the University of Washington. She has worked at ceramic institutions such as The Clay Studio, and for ceramic businesses like Felt and Fat.

Zoey Scheler is a second-year resident at Clay Art Center. She holds a MFA from Purchase College, MSED from Hofstra University, and a BFA from Pratt Institute. Her exhibition at Clay Art Center, I-70, featured small sculptures both hanging and for the wall.

Luke Wilde is Clay Art Center’s Westchester Community Foundation Young Artist Fellow. He holds a BFA from SUNY New Paltz. He works in multiples in both pottery and sculptural works, often utilizing digital technology.

Concluding our slide night will be the closing for US. We will be giving away cups made by Ehren Tool on Port Chester Day.
