Bernie Williams

Bernie Williams

We are thrilled to announce that our musical entertainment during the evening will be by the Clay Arts Quintet, featuring grammy nominated guitarist, Bernie Williams. This veteran group of musicians creates organic grooves and creative interpretations of the jazz and pop classic standards as well as original compositions. Collectively, they have performed extensively in almost every genre of music.

Proceeds from the event will support year-round youth scholarships, residencies for emerging artists, and other programs that allow Clay Art Center to promote the practice and appreciation of ceramic arts in our community.

This annual benefit attracts a lively and loyal audience of over 250 individuals. As one of our guests said last year – “As always, a fabulous night with great friends that feel like family!”

Jim Turnbull

Jim Turnbull

At this year’s annual benefit, we are pleased to be honoring Jim Turnbull, a former CAC board member, & the Turnbull family, of Standard Ceramic Supply Company. Jim’s extensive and supportive relationships with schools and centers like Clay Art Center allow him to impact the lives of thousands of people, and through that, connect with the world-wide clay community.

The annual fall benefit allows supporters of Clay Art Center to celebrate together and to promote the goal of providing opportunities for people from all backgrounds to express themselves through meaningful art making and appreciation.

Participating restaurants and businesses include: Acuario, Coals, Edo, Famous Greek Kitchen, Fogama, Frankie & Johnnie’s, Nestle Water, North Street Tavern, Rye Roadhouse, Salsa Picante, T&J Pizza and Pasta, Tandoori, Twisted Oak Tavern & VarMax. The evening will also include beer provided by Captain Lawrence Brewing Company, signature cocktails, and baked goods from Kneaded Bread and Lulu Patisserie.
