Our generous donors and supporters helped raise a record breaking $130,000
to keep Clay Art Center and our vital programs strong.

Clay Art Center celebrated 64 years with its 14th Annual Fall Benefit on October 16th at a tented outdoor event on its grounds in Port Chester, NY. A fabulous crowd of over 175 enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of good company, great food from Plates Catering, and fantastic live music from the John Clay Quartet. They also viewed the auction items, featuring one-of-kind ceramic artwork from local and nationally recognized artists, in person before bidding online. As one of our guests said – “As always, a fabulous night with great friends that feel like family!”

Emily Peck, Clay Art Center’s, Executive Director was overwhelmed with the generosity of all the donors who raised a record $130,000 to keep Clay Art Center and it’s vital programs strong and make sure they continue to have an impact in the community. "Thank you to the Clay Art Center community for their generous support in furthering the pursuit of making the power of creativity accessible to all."

The annual fall benefit allows supporters of Clay Art Center to celebrate together and help keep our vital programs strong by providing access to more individuals from our community with the opportunity to improve their lives through the transformational quality of clay. Funding provides over 1,000 scholarships to underserved and at-risk youth to take classes where they grow and flourish; provides a place for emerging artists to gain experience and skills through our Residency program; supports our exhibition program which brings the work of emerging and established ceramic artists to Clay Art Center; and funds our general operations which allows us to recruit and retain our dedicated staff.

We are so grateful for the energy, passion, and dedication of our board, staff, teachers, students, volunteers and all of you. And thank you to all the artists who donated work for our auction, and to our generous supporters and sponsors.

Enjoy the photos of the event. Thank you for making our gathering the best ever, and keeping these vital programs strong. The outpouring of encouragement, hope and support for Clay Art Center means so much to us!
